Status: offline 		I am currently making an Edge 540 to be powered by a Hacker B20 15L and 3s TP 2100 batteries. Performance should exceed that possible with a glow plane of the same size. The projected weight is around 20 ounces. Please don't think of this as "just a parkflier," it will be highly scale, be capable of full 3D aerobatics, and be used in competition. What I need some help with is the landing gear, though. I would like to stick to scale looking landing gear which is pretty standard for CF gear. I do not know the weave of my carbon fiber, but I could take some closeups later today. It is a pretty heavy weave. What do you guys make the mold out of? I was thinking of making the general shape out of foam, then routing a channel in it to put the carbon fiber in. What do you put over the top? Maybe heat shrink wrap? Thanks for your tips,

Status: offline 		Another thing I forgot to say, how do you fellas attach the wheels? Do you drill a hole in a down-facing leg and put a bolt through it, like with larger profile aluminum gear?
