Snyperx -> 3-Line fule Tank--Please Help!! (10/16/2003 5:03:24 AM)

I have a 3-line fuel tank for a plane I just put together and was wondering if I could get an explanation of the 3 seperate lines. I know one line goes to the carb, the other to the muffler, but what about the third? If I don't hook it up won't gas siphon out of the tank when doing stunts???? Please help. Thanks.

The third line is sometimes used to fill the tank when you can't get at the lines due to a cowl being fitted.

However, it's unlikely you will have to use it, and, in fact, you should find the tank has been supplied with one of them blanked off.

Which engine are you using?

Snyperx,

Thiere is no bumping in this forum. Please don't do it again.

As for your question, it has already been answered. The third line is used for refueling without having to unplug the line from the carb. This third line can be left to hang loose with a plug in it, or use a fuel dot. A fuel dot is a type of gas cap for RC aitcraft. I have one in my 4*40, and like it a lot.
