gpmikemorse-RCU -> What should receiver do when transmitter is off? (4/30/2002 10:17:18 PM)
|
Last time I was at the field, I accidently turned my airplane on while the transmitter was off. The servos chattered like crazy. One of the experienced guys said, "That's not a good sign!". I checked around, and there was nobody on my channel, and when I turned on my transmitter all was good. I did a range check, and went flying, and all was well. I will admit that most of the time if I turn on the receiver without the transmitter being on, the servos are quiet, so there was *something*. Should I have been worried? The experienced guy implied that I shouldn't have flown.
