Of course one is a 1/2a SST, but I have no idea what the other is called, as I picked it up already built. Looks like a handfull though...Wonder how it'd go with a Norvel .074...

This is a mini pacer, I no longer have this bird but I though it would be cool to post a picture here. It is an awesome little plane and flies like its on rails. Deadstick is the proud owner of this baby now. Enjoy it Dan!

SST- Tell me about that 1/2a Super Sport Trainer with the .074 Queen Bee!!!

That looks pretty awesome, I have one of each of those, an old Hobby Shack Kit of the !/2a SST and a really nice Queen Bee that are both gathering dust right now.

I'd love to hear about it and see a few more pics if possible.

thanks

timothy

Prole,

The Queen Bee is not a powerful engine a good TD .049 has the same power!

Yeah, I'm eBaying my 2 QBs right now, and plan on switching to Norvel .074s. I'm not up to flying my 1/2A SST yet, but I love my .40-size SST. The K&B.61 I have in it gives all the vert I can use.

BTW, my wife has a Herr Cub she stole from me but hasn't built yet, and I have a spare 1/2A SST kit. MikeSell and I have modeled SST's on RF all the way up to 96", and will be building some giant versions, hopefully this winter.

Come on guys, lets keep this one going! BTW, do any of you guys have planes for the planes you built? I would love to build a few of them myself. You guys are kick ass when it comes to making it small and realistic!

OK, here's another. Not r/c, and not 1/2A, but it's small. Electric free flight.

Nominally a 36" span, 34" projected. The motor/prop/battery is from a toy electric foamie, decided to make another plane for the motor when the foamie was destroyed.

Bill.

John:

Not so, sir. The car is 24 years old now, I bought it with the thought it would lat as long as I would. If it lasts another 16 years my capital cost will then have been right at $1000/year. And considered that way, it's a cheap ride. But it's the AMG 500, and the operating costs will tear you a new one. Fuel alone is aboout 8 mpg. But it's a blast to drive.

Might have to buy an Oldsmobile.

Haw.

Bill.
