Status: offline 		I've been looking around at Mini-Z's and am definitely getting an Overland but I also want to pick up a racer. There is a huge price difference over the range of cars. They go from Readysets at around or below $100 to Readysets at or near $150. Am I missing something or are you just paying more for a more popular body style? I know the new Enzo is a different chassis so I expect that to be more but all the rest of these cars seem the same except for the body style. Please shed some light on this....

Status: offline 		I've seen the Enzo retail for $199.00. Regarding the overall price, some die cast do cost more than others if the "racer" wins more races or is a leader in the point standings or dies. At least I tried to use the same justification when I purchased a Mini-Z-F1 and Kimi was the points leader at that time because that model cost more when I purchased it than some of the others. There was also a radio change or at least my Overland came with a different radio than my F1. Then there is that $70,000.00 USD HotWheel bus.... If there is a real answer other than demand and supply, I'd like to read about it too.

Status: offline 		The only difference is the body. If I was you I'd buy the cheapest ready set and then buy the body you want, that way you have a spare body and it is usually cheaper.

Status: offline 		Thanks for the replies. I thought they were all the same but wasn't sure. I didn't want to buy a cheaper car that was different in some way and not as capable or able to be upgraded like the more expensive models.

Status: offline 		I picked up my Enzo today and an extra motor--$159.99 plus tax. I didn't get on it too much but I taped a wireless camera on it and drove it around the LHS for awhile as well at a relatives--I chased the chihuahua around.

Status: offline 		Since I never ran the MR-01, I can't really provide you with an informed opinion other than the chassis has been lowered. It did seem to have better acceleration than my F1 and handle very well. And from what I've read on the Mini-Z websites, the MR-02 is worth the extra cash. However, I also read that the older bodies have to be modified to fit the MR-02 chassis, but supposedly an after-market adapter is on its way. One of the recent R/C magazines also reviewed the MR-02, but I can't remember which one and I didn't purchase it (Nov 03 Xtreme RC Cars reviewed the Overland so it wasn't that issue).
