35wt oil all around
Stock springs
When you put the oil in the shocks, take the shaft out and put a 1/4 in. piece of fuel tubing over the shaft. That will limit the shocks so you can get more spring compression without the truck being 5 inches off the ground.

Level front arms
Level rear dogbones.

Hope this helps.

If your gonna race i'd suggest getting different tires. The Stock tires have large sidewalls and are made of soft rubber. The truck will roll over on tight turns and you'll see alot of 3 wheel action.Something like the Maxx Boe Ties or Maxx Mulcher would be better than stock.40 serries would be Ideal but your on a budget and would need new rims with the 40 series tires. They sell both of these sets of tires to fit the stock Savage wheels as well.

i use rpm stablemax wheels, proline bow ties for tires. I use 50 wt shock oil in back, 40 in front. I have 2 sets of works for competetion springs a 6lb and a 4lb i have one of each on each wheel. and most important do the 4 spider diff mod to your front and rear differential.
