Ive been into nitro touring cars and am starting to get interested in these. Im thinking of mainly two...The Mini Z and HPI's I dont know what its called. Im leaning towards the HPI but am open to any opinions. Thanks in advance.

Both are great. The Mini-Z is 1:24 and the Micro Hpi are 1:18. In a little bit Losi will be selling there Mini-T which is 1:18. Its all about preferrence and what terrain you want to use it on. Out door and offroad go with the Mini-T. Since I have 2 Mini-Z's I really cant say too much about the Micro Hpi.

So i would bet the HPI is faster due to its larger size.

Well bigger doesnt always mean faster. I think the Mini-Z is actually faster then the Micro Rs4. Anyway though I say wait and go with the Mini-T. With that you can jump the dirt hills outside or go inside and jump your coffee table. You can also just play around on flat land and go fast too. With the prices guarenteed to be 130 or lower you cant go wrong. I have seen them run, they are fast, duable, they wheelie and they are just awesome.

I suggest you get the Mini-Z because they are so much fun. The HPI RTR Micro RS4 is faster then the RTR Mini-Z out of the box but do to it's size it's harder to play with indoors. So, if you plan on getting something to play with inside get the Mini-Z if you want something to play with on a smooth cement track I'd suggest the HPI, but you can play with a Z on cement as long as it's pretty smooth. I have two Z's and I love them so I think you should get a Z. Oh yea, if your worried about the speed of the Z it's about 12-13.5 mph out of the box depending on what batteries you use and the RTR Micro RS4 is 13 mph on 4 AA alkaline and 18 mph on Trinity's 6-cell NiMH pack. Hope this helps.
