You'll like it, but the instructions are a little lacking. They give you a video instead of an instruction sheet, The video is not of the plane you build unless you are building the PT-19.

Carl is very friendly and willing to answer any questions you have without hesatation (as is Jack Devine, great guys! Jack owns a few of the kits and they are beuties).

I think they (we) would be better served with an instruction sheet or at the very least a description of what the parts are for. Very vague.

If you have built planes with foam you will probably be okay but if you are new to this its a little more difficult, but by no means impossible. It is personally a little discouraging to me, being my first foam sheeted kit.

The glass work is great, foam parts great, quality of wood great, very good hardware package. (no decals, quality hinges) Best deal out there as far as I am concerned.

I owned the Corsair (crashed it, don't want to talk about it)
My fault not the planes. I did not build it. I decided to buy the P-51 and as soon as I finish it I will buy another kit from them.

I'll let someone else address the scale issue.
Oh, and be patient, it may take a while to get the kit.

It will probably take more time to figure out the building process (sequence) than it takes to build the kit!

I totally agree with AC. I have built twelve of the NWHT kits and am currently awaiting the arrival of number 13 a B-25. The concepts and building techniques are different and the video shows and demonstrates the concepts. The website also has a lot of good information on it. Everyone of them have flown beautifully and with a little work they can be made very scale.
Carl Hickey is a great guy to deal with and he makes himself available to answer your questions and offers great advice. He really knows his kits. If you decide to take the plunge and run into any building problems let me know and I'd be happy to share with you what I did with mine. The quality of the kit is very high.
Carl's glass work is really first rate and the kits are very complete. The sale prices are more than fair for what you get. I'd recommend using the Foam Bond glue that Carl markets. Good stuff, no smell, easy to work with and things stay glued together.

The building concepts are different from anything you've ever done before but the results will be awesome! I have the Corsair and I built it per the video and the instructions on the website! I also called Carl if I had a question and he was most helpful! The flight characteristics are second to none and the kit can be modified to whatever scale degree you wish to take it! Like Jack, I highly recommend the "FOAM BOND" no smell, water clean up and things tend to stay stuck together. I would also recommend that you use the 3M "Lacquer Tape" as well.

HAPPY FLYING!
