Status: offline 		I have the 310 tuning motor, will I need to get a larger tail motor as well? right now I am having trouble getting the tai motor from reaching a speed that will counter act the yaw induced by the main motor. I am thinking that it is the result of having training gear on and the main rotor has to run at higher speeds to lift off. Will a bigger tail motor help?

Status: offline 		Piccolo's are nortorious for the stock tail motors having longeviety problems. One solution is to replace the stock motor with a new motor, or you could put on the high authority Piccolo Pro motor....but....if you do that then you will reduce your flight times, have a very tail heavy Heli and all sorts of other problems.
I would recommend first making sure that the tail motor gear lash is set very very loose and the silicone tubing is not pressed tightly up against the bearings. If you have flown your Piccolo for awhile you might just want to replace the tail motor. My first tail motor lasted about 5-6 flying hours, not too long considering everything.
