Yesterday, a gentleman from the club that I am a member of gave me a set of Ziroli corsair plans, fiberglass cowl, and canopy. He could not remember when he purchased the plans but it had to be a while back because he remember he paid $27 dollars for them. The question is, does anyone know if the plans have changed any over the years? I looked them over briefly and I did not see flaps on the plans. Did early Ziroli corsair plans not have the flaps?

I will check my plans tonight, but I do recall seeing flaps on mine. I bought them about 2 years ago. I also bought the Fiberglass fuse as well. I plan on building this thing soon.

I built a Ziroli Corsair 15 years ago that did not show flaps. I built one last year that did show flaps. Probably this is the major difference. If you are going to spend between $1500 and $2000 building the Corsair then I suggest that you invest in a current set of plans.

Some recent photos of my Ziroil Corsair (with flaps) can be seen at this site: http://www.1nvrc.com/

The flaps are very effective, and not difficult to build. I highly reccomend them.
