Would it create a problem to use my 2 stroke 10% fuel in my Saito 100 4 strike engine? Aside from the performance difference (because of the lower nitro content) would using the 2 stroke fuel create any damage?

TIA,
Jim

I never use 4 cycle fuels in my 4 strokes. I used 10% on my Saito 100 to start with, and it never ran well. I switched to 15% and the results are much better. Now I'm using the Byron or Powermaster 30% heli fuels, and there is no comparison. MUCH stronger, and the idle and throttle transition is very smooth.

I would use no less than 15% nitro in my Saitos. My magnum 4 stroke works well on 10%, as well does OS and TT.

Jim:

If you check the Saito paperwork it says 10-15% nitro, and wants 20% oil. "Four-Stroke" fuel is generally lower oil than "Two-Stroke," and the 2c is commonly 16-18%. They also say a bit of castor oil is nice.

Add all this together, Cool power with addition of 3 ounces castor oil per gallon, or Omega straight out of the bottle.

Bill.

I never run 4-C fuel. Power master 15% will make it humm. 30% if you want some extra kick.
