i am just wondering which monster truck is the worst. many people ask which monster truck they should buy and which one is the best and they are bragging about how good thier monster trucks are. but i want you guys to tell everyone else which monster truck you think is the worst. and i want real reasons. i don't want everyone to say that the think t-maxx is the worst just because they have a savage or anything like that. this can really help people trying to decide on whhich monster truck to buy because they will now know which monster trucks are weak, under powered, and are money pits that should be left alone.

i would have to say the mad force. (my opoin) My reasons are because it's a solid axel truck that has just as much or less arctulation then a truck with the independent susption. It's tall, the steering is wack, weak engine(but plenty for it's purpose), Pricy and it does not come with servos, ect...
BUT I do give this truck props for being able to hit 43mph in stock form with a 1.2 HP engine @ 28,000 RPM's.

Hmm... Tough decision. I'd have to go with the Pirate 10. Horrible chassis flex, and can't handle what even the stock trim gives it. Fast though if you can keep it running.

Different trucks have different purposes..... and the solid axel trucks I guess don`t match up to independant rigs when it comes to overall performance !, I don`t own a solid axel truck...don`t like the look of it ! so I`m not going to put em down without actually owning/driving/using one for its intended purpose.

I`ll have to say the T-Max is one of(notice "one of" the biggest POS... its ability is hyped to the max...but in reality the only reason it has any capability as a MT is because its light...and thus weakly build and becomes a money pit if you want to really belt the crap out of it day after day. The T-Max is a money pit..and I believe it was designed that way !.... lots of aftermarket crap..which you can`t tell the good from the bad(most is looks and doesn`t help its durability much...or detracts from its performance by adding wieght !!!) Having to spent mega $$$ ,,,and getting told its what everyone does and has to do...and its easy because the aftermarket support is HUGE... is a crock. Its an expensive R/C... it comes with absolutely POS radio gear and needs all the hop-ups in the world before it will run strong, which in most cases hoodwinks the enthusiastic end user into spending many hundreds of dollars before they wake up and realise they could have bought 3 other complete cars and trucks for the money they dropped into a black hole !

This would all depend on your own experience and it can be very biased as well.

The MT that gave you the most trouble and problems???

MT that gave me the most problems was my Emaxx, but when it ran it was a champ! kinda like the tmaxx.

Some one needs to make a 10 lb. truck that can go 50 mph, handles like an 1/8th scale buggy and can still be jumped off a roof and not break. I guess even if they did most idiot MT drivers would find a way to break it.

PS I dont think my Maxx is a money pit. I spend money on it but not because it is broken. I usually am spending money to make it lighter or handle better (which is next to impossible, MT's handle like crap).

Without a doubt its the Tmaxx. We (my brothers and I) have a Savage, a T-maxx and a Mad Force, the Maxx is a disaster. We needed to put aluminum bulks, CVD's and a Sirio 3.0 and clutch just to be able to enjoy it for an hour or two. Its OK now, but I would never think about buying another one. My brother wishes he had gotten something else, anything else.

If you are asking what the worst is in money then it is probably the T-Maxx.

Although I don't think that the maxx is the worst in some other categories such as speed, weight, and power.

It all depends on what you are exactly asking what is worst.

I like my maxx, it is a .15 engine that can keep up with the .21's.

I don't care if it breaks, it isn't hard to fix. Anyways I love messing around with things and fixing them and making them better.

While I almost agree, what good is the speed, power, and light weight when its always broken? Or like in my brothers case, you have to sink $400 bucks into it to make it enjoyable. And it still breaks from time to time. also forgot to mention the RPM suspension arms.

i don't know what the worst would be, and thats hard to say, everyone has there own opinion.... i have had 5 or 6 t-maxxs and 3 savages, Believe it or not, i didn't have much problems with my T-mass at all, i even had a Unlimited Engineering t-maxx.... which of course took a ENORMOUS beating and keep ticking.... and same thing with my savages... take a MAJOR beating and keep ticking and the only thing broken on my Savage, was a turnbuckle and some shock shafts in my HB junk shocks.... i have played with many different trucks... and i think the worst one we played with was the OFNA TITAN, i think it would be a good truck once upgraded... but for its own size and weight it has a hard time... and it keeps tossing it's driveshafts!!

I say every truck has it's weak pionts, BUT the only reason things break is because either they were mistreated or defective.that's my opinion. i have had a cen mt and st, a hyper 8 port savage and a .21 maxx that i still have , the t-maxx is not as bad as all you people make it out to be, i have only had to upgrade the driveline and that's i need for the .21 engine, i drive the poor basturd hard as hell but the only thing i have had go wrong is the occasional bulkhead braking (which is only a lowsy 5.00 for a set) and maybe, MAYBE the spur gear stipping but that has only happened twice in the past year! i say it depends on how you drive not what truck is worse, if you want a good basher go for the savage , but if you want a racer get a maxx and or savageor a dominator or a pirate 10. My piont is things break weather or not it's cheap. no one can may something that's indestructible! <
