Status: offline 		Any tach readings on a Saito 65? I am running a 12.25 x 3.75 prop, 15% nitro. I tached it at 10,900 at take off. I dropped a valve about 12 minutes into the flight. It really messed the engine up! Anybody got any tach readings?

Status: offline 		My friend's Saito 65 turns APC 13x6 @ 10000, APC 13x4W @ 10500. The 13x4W gave the Goldberg Extreme unlimited vertical.

Status: offline 		Good god , never go over 10000 rpm static with a Saito 65 or any other 4 stroke for that matter. I run 12/8 or 13/6 on mine at least 300 rpm rich and never had a problem. That engine is only rated to 11500 rpm. Once it unloads in the air, you will be right there. A Saito 65 has a long stroke, puts out good power and very dependable if treated with respect.

Status: offline 		My old saito .65 turns up a apc 13X6 @ 10,000 on 10% omega fuel. It was enough to carry my ultra stick .60 vertcal forever. May it R.I.P.
BTW, the engine survived the crash

Well, at 10K it was enough to pull my .60 size ultrastick straight up, not fast but it would continue for a very long climb.
