Hey to all my buds here (Chuck and Gator, among others). I left this thread alone a while ago 'cause the guys weren't interested in the actual purpose. They are the type that read a post about how to get their OS engine to run right, and they tell them to throw out their junk engine, and buy a ______.

But I just figured out what that little stop light icon in the top left above a poster's name is for. Kevein Greene no longer exists!!!! Of course if I want to know how to fly jets w/o any rules and cry about 3Ders, I'll un-block him! (ya, that could happen)

A wise man once told me to NEVER argue with an idiot----Those watching won't be able to tell the difference between the two....

Ya know, Jess----For someone that is supposed to be an educated full scale pilot---You sure don't act like one. Can you say that 100% of the time you fly your models as safely as you shuttle people around this country???

I've given up after realizing that I can't change the views of those individuals hell bent on breaking AMA regulations. I don't like some of the regs just like you don't but I have to suck it up like a man and abide by them until they are either changed or abolished. So far, JPO has done its job as our needless speed limiter rules are put on hold. I hope that none of you ever injures someone due to breaking rules 8 and 9 as you will find out first hand what I'm talking about. Jess, you may risk your livelyhood and that of the club officers and of the landowner but I for one won't...Just that one fact makes me much more of a man than you'll ever be....

Yall Chill.........

There is a cure on the way.

http://www.international3d.org/index.php

The offical launch will be in a few weeks, however you can go get info as it becomes available.

There needs to be a few guidelines and there also should be tolerance.

That is what I 3D is all about.

Thanks Ynot, you beat me to it.

Just take a deep breath.... Flying should be fun, not pointless arguments. This thread is supposed to be a call to the community to get more involved in the ama. Not a flame war between flyers.

If the only thing that can touch the ground is the "Landing Gear" then how do you land a Pizza Box, combat plane or almost all electric gliders? They have no landing gear.

Maybe this rule is a little vague in the way it is worded. I know safety is a concern at any field. Maybe the AMA should let the clubs decide if there should be a rule about tail touching or at their field.

Apparently we can't all get along, so it's time to put this one to bed.
