Gear is stock and fixed (pout) but I fly off pavement only so its gotta stay that way for now. My friend is finishing the big Joe Saita Komet...that one will have the trolly that detaches and a landing skid.

13X6 prop....(very little clearance). Motor is the cheapo KMS from hobby people...but for this ARF bash....its perfect.

Very well done on your Komet Ram-bro. You dont have anymore of those JG400 Decals do you? I have been playing with the HobbyKing Zippy packs. I have tried 3s, 4s and 6s from 25 to 40C. So far I have only blown 1 battery out of about 12 I have. I use the 6s 5000MAH 30C in the big 262 (not not flown yet ) For the price...you cannot beat them. You will take a hit on shipping...but if you order enough stuff it is worth it.

Tony...I went with Getstencils.com for my JG400 decal. I ordered a sheet full of the Dry Transfer decals ready to go. I thought this the best option for the ease of application and I dont have to have the 4 matching paints to do a true mask stencil. So far the customer service has been excellent and prompt. Price for a sheet was very cheap. I should have the transfers this weekend. I will let you know how they go on.

Here is the JG400 insignia....loose translation " Like a flea...but oh how it goes"

Stencils arrived. Very good quality. I went a little big on the size to use them on the big Joe Saitta Komet later. Real easy to put on, peel off the back, line it up and then burnish it on with a ball point pen. The minor winkles in pic rubbed out with my finger...then a few light coats of flat clear coat...easy project.

Pandiss, that is way too easy......I went ol school on mine. I definietly will have to consider using something like that on future projects. The only problem....at my skill level is weathering those.
