Ok, I am driving my maxx around hitting second gear and almost getting to top speed.

When I let off the throttle and let the truck roll, there is a high pitched sort of whine and when I hit the brakes it goes away.

Does anybody know what is making this sound? And what can I do to make the sound stop?

It hasn't done anything to my truck yet but I am just wondering what is making the sound.

Definately spur gear grinding against the clutchbell, I got this on my old T-Maxx and HPI Nitro MT, try tightening the slipper clutch nut. I can't think of anything else other than maybe worn differentials.

Thanks, Kuma.

Will try that this weekend and see if it works.
