hey nice pics, so it looks like you are fiberglassing this plane, good idea. i notice you have a zdz there, what cc is it. I have one waiting to be built can't wait to get started on it probably in a couple months

And a few more pictures . At present the retracts are bolted in but need gear doors mounted and the cut outs for the retracted gear doors ,main and tail retract. I will post pictures of the installation as I precede with the final installation next week hopefully.

Its a 60 ZDZ which Mike of R.C.S. loaned me. I will be installing a ZDZ 80, using the pictured RCS machined aluminum 60/80 Isomount.

I bought the same rig for my retracts. They sent a nose gear for me to use as a tail wheel retract. Didnt think of that since I already had one. I was concerned mostly about the cosmetic looks of the robart 673LR struts. I'm sure they are strong enough, they just looked a little small in diameter. Would like to have gotten some 5/8" struts but this is no big deal. The TF giant P-47 is being setup as an everyday flyer. Installation looks really good. My gear doors will be fiberglass, about 3 layers of 4 to 6 oz. Seeing those pictures builds up my enthusiasm. Got ta finish the current project asap.
