I don't pay for much (my parents pretty much pay for it), but my rides aren't too modded.
The first real payment I'm gonna make is for my Sav. Here's the estimate.

Rustler $200---------LHS is a rip-off.
2 pair Pro-Line Tires $40
1 Pair RPM wheels $5
Tire glue $5
Threadlocker $8?????
Smartech Winner 3 $180
O.S. .18 CV-R $110----Again! LHS rip-off!!!
Starter set $20
Fuel $40
Parts $100
OFNA Fail Safe $25
Other stuff $50-60

Forgot Total: $795 (not too bad eh?)

Now I have to add my Savage X.

$340--good deal off e-bay.

New Total: $1100

Do band-aids and property damage count???? LOL

got back into the hobby maybe 8 months ago. already spent about 3500. this is a prime example why you NEVER sell your R/c stuff when you think you've had enough- because you'll always end up buying the same stuff over again the next time the r/c bug bites...

lets see
great deal of RCU $105 (lots of extra parts)
wheels and tires(Would be about $200 in tires) but i only spent about 40-50 of it (others were gifts or were really cheap)
fuel $80
parts $100
other junk 80-100
so in all its alot (i don't want to add it all up then i will realize how much money should have gone to other things )

I just got my first car a week ago. It is a Nitro Evader stadium truck and I already have $600 into the car, but I love it and will continue to spend all of my extra money on this hobby.

Probably a sum total of $3000 over 16 years with a 12 year break in between. I am quite thankful for E-bay now!!!

i'm probably getting up to the $2000 mark by now. just ordered a hyper 7 tq sport at like 2:15 this morning, along with a jconcepts illuzion body, hyper 8 stock wheels and wing. this is my third rc in less than i a year, and i just started in the hobby in december '05. dont plan on selling any of my rc's, just keep them and they sit on the shelf till there next day out, or till i fix one and bring it out. best part is, my gf is getting into it, so at least she wont say im wasting money. she's just as addicted as i am.
