I need some info in here, I read an article about charging batteries. It said that the worst thing you can do is to charge reciever and transmiter packs with a fast charger, as the Novak Millenium, and others of that type. If the charger says it can charge AA batteries, I don“t think there is a problem with that what do you guys think, I have always charge my reciever packs with a Novak Millenium and I have never had a problem.

What size packs are you talking about, and what is the minimum charge rate your Novak is capable of producing! If it can manage C/10 for initial break-in, 1C for NiMh and no more than 2C for Nicd then there is not a problem - if it can't do any or all of those you are ruining your packs.

Cheers, Phil

I am talking about AA batteries reciever and transmiter. What does C10,C1 and C2 means, I am new to electic. I have always charge the small AA batteries with the charger that the battery brings. I bought the Novak Millenium that way I can charge the batteries at the field, but when I read the article about charging batteries, I was worried If i was doing it right or not. The charger brings a manual that says that for charging AA Ni-Cd bateries it is recomended to be charge with a current of (1.5 A) and for Ni-Mh with a current of (1.0 A), what do you think, am I doing it right.
Thanks for the replie

Marcelo
