vortex you can get the bell houseing at www.cbmodels.co.uk there about £14 with the bearing and you will need a spacer washer about 1mm thick witha 5mm hole to put behind the bell houseing

The speed, the handling, the ruggedness, the balance....... everything is A1!
The only thing i'm having problems with is starting the thing! I'm running an R3 plug and it doesn't like starting at all and uses 1 every other tank, is this the right plug to use and any tips on the best setup for running the engine? I've tried all the tuning methods but it EATS plugs.

The best bit of fun I've had is locking the front brakes and taking off the front drive-shaft making it just rear wheel drive, power slide at it's best
Had to put it back to 4WD because it eats tyres like that.

This car is a damn good 'cheaper' alternative to the Hyper7 and the body fits too so it can even look like it's more expensive rival.

There's a model shop down the road from me that sells all the spares Wheelspin Models but they don't sell bellhousings so I'll phone CB Models tomorrow.
Thanks for the tip with the velcro, i'm sick of cleaning mud after every run especially in this lovely winter weather
BRING ON THE SUMMER !!!!!!

Went out the other day and (if you listen carefully for the thud) I hit a skip
Movie (3.8mb)
Didn't even run it long enough to get the body on!

I've got loads of RC car clips of various things on my FTP if anyone wants them, I'm always updating them.

IP is 81.152.202.226
Username is rc
Password is cars

If anyone has any good clips, can they upload them to the 'upload' folder please?

That is nuts... So it must be direct drive then? Or do you have some type of clutch setup?

You HAVE to get some video of that running. You are one crazy guy!

Oh and how do you control the throttle without the throttle servo hooked up?

It must be magic. hehe. isn't the throttle linkage sticking up in the air on the upper left of the screen? It's a pretty cool pic. Was this taken before it was completed?

Sorry for the somewhat misleading picture, it was the only one my friend took after it's maiden run and I was half way through modifying it.

The linkage you can see on the left is actually a stabilizer strut to stop the chassis twisting and wasn't bolted down at the time of the pic.
The throttle (see the cable running down the right) was just being modded because it was sticking flat out..... quite scary as there's no brakes yet.
At the moment it's direct drive to the back diff but the clutch is being built by a friend and should be ready for the weekend.

I found it runs well on 2 stroke mixture with about 10% nitro mixed in. and spins the wheels at around 30mph. God knows what the top-end is but it's twice as fast as the Force 21 that was in it before!

Engine cost me £25 (about $38) off Ebay and is brand new and only weighs 0.5kg (1.1lb). The first thing I did was bore out the exhaust port to the max which makes it far more powerful and sounds soooooooo sweet

Don't worry guys...... you WILL see a video of this in the future

The FTP is still up (see above), please be prepared for a slow download at peak times, there's rather a lot of people connected. If you've got anything to share, please upload.
