I bought mine off of eBay for $458.50 delivered. I've seen quite a few sell for that or less between now and then. Here's a link to one being sold by the same shop I bought mine from. Factory seal was broken, but contents were correct and complete. Item # 3159945029

everybody has a different opinion. it doesnt nececarly mean their right or wrong. if you ask the people around here most of them are gonna tell you hyper 7 pbs for sure. im a kyosho fan but as far as ofna goes i would take hyper 7 pbs over the x-termanator anyday and so would most people around here. theres not much talk about the x-termanator either. that doesnt mean the x-termanator is a bad car its just the people around here would tell you. most everyone is ofna fans around here. in fact ofna was my second choice under the kyosho inferno 75. i planned on racing when i bought my car and most people said kyosho for racing and ofna for bashiing.my opinion would be to stick with kyosho of ofna but thats just my opnion.

You really ought to consider the Hot Bodies Lightning RR. It is rtr and many of the Kanai parts fit. Check it out here. There is a great forum on RC Zone under other vehicles.

I have an Ofna MBX Pro with the Force .26. I love it and found it on Ebay brand new for $299.00 shipped to my door. It has tons of power and is a great first buggy. The only thing is that the steering servos sucks and broke in 1 day, but if you have $400, buy the MBX Pro and A Hitec 645MG servo, and you still have $60 left for fuel and other crap. Good luck!!

My friend has been running an OFNA Ultra LX PRO RTR. It has proven to be very durable and only costs about $300 from towerhobbies.com. Many hop ups are available to make it faster and withstand the punishment of hardcore ramping. The only thing is that it comes with a .26 size engine which makes it uneligible to race.

thanks guys for helping me out, but i am still leaning toward the x terminator delux just because of its reviews and because my local hobby shop has it, and they really like it, evan over the inferno! they have used both and said the x terminator is faster. I also just want everyone to know that im talking about the delux version not the normal one.

i like kyosho because of all the hop up options. the inferno rtr engine GX21 isnt all that great though. for bashing its fine but i needed something for race.

I have the Pro version of the Hot Bodies Lightning. (The Pro version was realeased in December of last year).

I've upgraded the engine to the Hyper .21 8-port Race. It's a lot of fun and I have yet to break anything since april.

I personally think the Lightning Pro is a great and durable buggy for the experienced hobbyist on a budget. A lot of bang for the buck.

Well, if you're concered about the stock engine, the Lightning Pro is at a disadvantage.

The Pro's value really shines when you're comparing it to the "kit built" RC cars. The Lightning Pro is something like a slightly hopped up Kyosho Inferno MP 7.5 and it comes in $250 less in price than the K car. The fact that it even includes an engine is amaizing. It's not a powerful engine, but it will turn the wheels if you don't have the green to buy a new one right away.

If you're looking at RTR buggies only (not into the building thing), the Storm RTR, imo, is a pretty good deal.
