can i put my 1/6th scale flying car in here. basicaly i will have a 1/6th size car with remote control wings that can be retracted.

First, you have to decide wether you will build a car that can be flown, or a plane that can be driven!

planes can be driven. up till now, cars cant be flown.

Then all that remains, is for you to post the pic of your own Aerocar!

Remember, we are talking about a maneuverable flyer here, not just extending wings and getting 'airborn'.

That's been done many times, even accidentally, by racecars.

Right, here's a 'strap-on' flight kit for a Lotus Elise.

Reminds me of the ill-fated Flying Pinto, from a few years ago, which was set up the same way.

But, it literally 'fell out of the sky', one day killing it's creators, due to a malfunctioning sill to strut clamp, which let go in flight.

Hope these guys have that engineering problem handled!

maybe some sort of car / autogyro would be best. They seem quite nippy on the roads when you secure the rotors.

i remember i stuck on some glider wings i had to a old buggy, off pavement i'd get 6' jumps, soft suspention soon wrecked first the tips then the rest of the wing.
