Your gonna need a drivline and 1/8 scale differentials to handle the power. After that, you will probably toast the transmission 2 speed. The truck itself should be ok.

Did you use the 24.7 or the 24.7 Pro??? I'm trying to decide between the 24.7 pro or the wasp 26... I'm in the process of building an all aluminum T-maxx from the ground up, I currently have a brand nex stock drivetrain that I'm going to use till I have a ball blowing it up... I know Supermaxx makes diff cases that'll accept 1/8th scale diffs but I'm waiting off cause I want to see how long it takes to blow the stock ones...

I'm going to need some serious power... With only 4 shocks, no engine, radio gear, tanl/fuel or other little tidbits and Imex Swamp Dogs the truck's weighing in at about 11 pounds... This was according to my bathroom scale though... I'm not going to gear the truck for any mind blowing top speed, it's getting geared to take advantage of the torque for some serious climbing and pulling...

Slimeball ::::
A friend of mine already has a 24/7 Tmaxx. Its pretty cool. It will perform wonderfully. He has the BB Conversion and the steel Spur gear setup from Robinson Racing. One of the other things he did was convert to the Heave duty axcels and drive shafts, the aded power will twist the origionals after a while. Also you might want to concider getting Aluminum rims. Both he and I have had problems stripping out the centers on plastic rims. Also look into a heavy duty clutch. On his T-Maxx everything is pretty good now. About the only thing he has to wory about anymore is the clutch.

vtl1180ny:::
I currently have an all aluminum Savage. It weighs in at roughly 15lbs. I have had both the XTM 24/7 and an Ofna Outlaw .26. They are both easily able to give you the power you need. The 24/7 is a very good motor. it would push my truck easily, as well as provide me with plenty of power to get over anything I needed. I had it on my truck for a long time, and would prob still have it on there if my tranny hadn't messed up and caused me to burn it up.

The Picco Outlaw .26 motor is what I currently have. It too will easily push my truck. It has tons of low end grunt and a good top end as well. it is a little stronger than the 24/7 and I dont have any prob with the oneway bearring in it (I had probs with the 24/7 and the one way bearring, I allways had to take it out and clean it alot or it would allways mess up at the worst times). The Picco will easily pull the front wheels on my Savage. For a long time I had thought I would never be able to do that with my truck being that it was so heavy.

im thinking that some alloy hex nuts will do, they seem to have held up on my cousin's stampede with the killer picco
