I have the Big Bore shocks and the work great for me. I have changed out the springs to the trinity blue and now the truck doesn't bottom out. I would highly recommend them because of there durability and performance.

do u know what the trinity blue springs stiffness rating is? example the traxxas red springs are 2.5? i believe dual rate springs are 3.00 at the beginnning of travel and then increase to 7.00!!!

You can't go wrong with the Big Bores, they are an all around good upgrade. You should be able to pick them up for $50-$60.

We run Ofna 9.5 front buggy (front) threaded shocks on our Maxx's (the back one's are slightly too long for what we need). Around $35 a pair.

The idea of external shock reservoirs on the latest shock craze seems pretty cool but a lot of extra weight if you ask me.

Or, for about $25 you can pick up aluminum shock caps which will help ensure your stockers stay together and place the other $75 into a pipe and rechargeable receiver battery pack if you haven't done so already?

We use these on our Bashers and on our racer Maxx Ofna 9.5 1/8 scale shocks

Eight of them per truck is rather spendy, however, I have purchased a total of 24 of them over the past year or two for around $35-$40 a pair. These are really tough to beat!
