I saw that before and I thought it was weird. I mean if you want a Electric Truck why didn't you buy a E-Maxx?
But just a matter of opinion!

A lot of people convert cars/trucks/buggies from nitro to electric.

In a British magazine I saw a guy who converted an OFNA 1/8 buggy to electric. Looked cool. Just something you don't see everyday.

I would like to see how it performs - I am interested in doing a brushless project, just trying to decide what to do.

Been thinking of converting my TC3 to brushless.

I did it to a nitro vee just to experiment as well. The boat was great as a nitro but too many stalls on a boat got frustrating. Didn't go brushless though. If HPI made a factory rtr brushless
B-SAVAGE that would be really cool!

nobody makes electric vehicles with such excelent suspensions as 1/8th buggys and big nitro trucks. The best electric truck is the emaxx, but not many people like those. I think its a good idea to convert if you like electrics.
