Hi all,
I have been into RC for about 12 years although I have never flown an indoor aircraft neither do I have any knowledge on them.

I would like to get a small, lightweight, electric trainer which can be flown indoors/backyard. The model should be 3 channel trainer & extremely slow flier. Aerobatic capability not needed.
Could you suggest an appropriate model with all the accessories needed?

Thanks...
Mayur

Mayur:

GWS Lite-Stick Cub or the full fuse style. Comes with IPS motor.
the IPS stands for indoor power system.
2nd choice would be the mini-IFO virtually indestructable using
the same Lite-Stick motor

Cub ---- $35.00
Mini IFO ---- $50.00 but no motor ( motor --- $18.00 )
GWS flight pack ( Rx , Speed control, 2 micro servos, Bat.) -$90.00
8 cell NiMH pack --- $20.00
Charger Hitec 335 --- $90.00

I just started indoor with a pico stick a couple of months ago it works fine. I built a mouse from scratch and thought it was the best thing I have see fly indoors. Then last month I scratch built my own version of an IFO. It flies great! in my basement in a 20x30 space.

Say cbaltz, mind posting pics of your homemade IFO, or at least share with us your construction? Thinking of doing the same, but don't have that much experience building with CF.
