Status: offline 		I have my own custom one that my friend Josh and Mike Glavin made for me out of 6mm Depron.

I am using a Hacker B20 15L with 3S Thunderpower 2100mah Li Poly. Hacker 18-30 Jeti controller and Hs 55s all around.

40" wingspan and about 35-38" length.

Status: offline 		I haved the Flat Edge , but haven't built it yet. I am flying a trident right now and haveing alot of fun with it. My buddy Paul Swany is flying his FlatEdge. He likes it too....I would say the difference in the two is that the Trident is maybe a little more rigid with its I-beam construction. The flat edge is built with the CF tube in the wing and fuse....I think the tube allows for the plane to be a little more durable, just because it gives more than the I-beam. I can see the wings flex alot when you do waterfalls with the Flat Edge. Dont get me wrong the Trident flex's too, but not as much as the edge. I would have already started my Flat Edge, but I dont want to stop flying the Trident, plus, my flat Edge needs a cover scheme, I 'll do something on it with sharpies, just dont have any good ideas yet...Gator

Status: offline 		Where do you get the Flat Edge. I want a kit that has Depron cut, CF, motor block etc... Is the Flat Edge what I am looking for? Any suggestions? After reading as much as I can the last week or so, I am convinced that I need a brushless motor with Li Poly batteries.

Status: offline 		Jeff, A buddy of mine kits the plane you are looking for here in Sacramento,Ca. If you send me a PM I will be happy to foward the info to him. His kits are sweet! They come with the carbon already installed and NOOO junk hardware. The pushrods are CF. and he also includes landing gear, wheels, motor mount, horns,and a very easy to follow instruction sheet. The plane is so stable I torque rolled his inside our local hobby shop (during work hours) I have a Razor 350 with a C drive on mine and it's cool. However the one in the hovering photo had a GWS 350 with C drive and a 12X6 prop. Have Fun.....BENDER

I had the same problem with my prototype, so I redesigned the Edge I'm kitting now. I have two CF tubes in the wing - 5mm at the leading edge and 3mm near the TL. The wing is stiff like 2 by 4 . And because the whole LE if CF, you can run this plane into the pole and the Edge will just bounce off.
Along the fuse there is another 5 mm CF tube. It's the main spine if the plane. No flexing here either.

Do you want a painted one - you know, the wing and elevator in blue and red. I have finally setup my painting procedure. The trick to airbrush the foam with latex is in thinning the paint with 70% isoproppyl alcohol ($0.90 for big bottle at Wallmart) in 1 to 1 relation. It sprays even light and drs fast (but the hair blower is handy because it's f**** cold these days ).
For masking the edges I figured out the elctrical tape is the best. Easy to work with and doesn't let the paint to go under. For masking big areas I use some food wrapping foil my wife has in the drawer in the kitchen
