Yes.

If you look at the specs on the Astro Flight geared 010 motor here, you will see that it will wort fine.

Just don't leave it at full power for longer than 10-15 second bursts and you'll be fine.

On the Astro Flight "Mighty Micro 010 Geared Motor" page, they have specific setups using 10 Nicads which is equal to your 3-cell LiPo pack.

Simply select an APC e-prop; 8x6, 9x6, or 10x7 and you'll be all set because the motor, ESC, and Lipo cells all operate in these parameters.

OK Now one more question

will the difference between a 700 mah pack and 1500 mah be the flying times?

Aside from the obvious - a 1500mAh pack should give you just over twice the run time of a 700mAh pack (assuming the same current draw).

There are two other factors, though. If the Kokams are rated at 5C, for example, the 700 pack will only be good for 3.5A maximum current draw, but the 1500mAh pack will yield 7.5A maximum draw. At the SAME amp draw the 1500 pack will be less stressed and its voltage will not drop under load as far as will the voltage of the 700 pack - so you will get more power (W) from the 1500 even if the amp draw is the same.

Cheers, Phil

The Kokam 700HC cell is rated for 6C or 4.2amps and the 1500HC cell is rated for 8C or 12amps. Remember that these are continuous current ratings and higher current delivery can be used for short bursts.

Besides the duration increase, you also have about a 2oz weight increase when using 3-cell packs. So, keep in mind the plane application as well when determining which cell to use.
