Is anyone trying to remove the two logos on the wing ends.
The rabbit and the Edge decals? If so, how?

I'm going to try to remove the Wild Hare decals from the main wing also but haven't tried it yet. I did lift an edge of the rabbit up with an exacto knife just to test how hard it will be. I think it will come off OK but it may be tedious. I did this same thing when I removed the Hangar 9 decals from their 33% Sukhoi and it worked fine. After the decals came off I used WD40 on a rag to remove the faint images left where the edges of the letters were. BTW, this is my 4th WH product - 35% Giles, red & white 35% Extra, red & yellow 35% Extra, and now the 28% Edge 540. Needless to say I've been very impressed with the quality, service, and flight capabilities of Tom's kits.

well guys this afternoon I should be able to post pics of the DA50 and slimline smoke muffler. I got the cowl cut and put on also. This is about as far as i can go with out having christmas a lil early. Alot of this years presents are based around this plane. I had to beg like a sad dog to get the spinner out of her hands long enough to get the motor and cowl mounted.

DA50 users. Be prepared to make some kind of spacer. Even with using the stand offs you are about 1" short of making it to the cowl face. I made some hardwoord spacers that I will show in the pictures.

With the PITTS style smoke muffler I was faced with two option. 1 cut the pipes back about 3/4" or 2 slot the hole on the cowl so you can get the cowl on and off. If you cut the pipes, it puts them that much closer to the plane. With smoke I don't want to have an oil bucket after every flight. So i choose to slot the holes a lil and leave the pipes the regular length.

Will post pics at lunch time.

They come with a DA50 as a standard. They are 2.5 inches long. There is a company on RCU that will custom make standoffs for you to your specified length. They were not to bad on pricing either. I think it was around 30-40$. I also measured my wood spacer that i built with a micrometer. they are .639 which is pretty close to 5/8 of an inch (5/8=.625)
HERE IS A PICTURE OF THERE CUSTOM STANDOFFS ON A DA50.
Here is the link to where i saw them on rcu

Sweet, thanks jetfreak... I ordered my DA50 today and they said standards are 2.5 but they have short and long available too but nobody ever asks for them I got 3 inch ones included with my engine as a "standard issue" option, hopefully they should be very close Here are a couple more pics from a prettier angle of the new bird, this is one of my favorite pic angles of an airplane
