Is the MP 7.5 worth the extra money versus the axis? I want a buggy with descent performance, but I don't plan to race competitively other than the occasianal parking lot race against the local T-Maxx fans. What is your recommendation?

    Thanks,

    Alex.

Also, the Inferno "Sports" is not the same quality as the normal Inferno. Some of the differences include a plastic spur gear on the Sports (normal MP 7.5 has a metal spur gear) and a thinner chassis on the Sports.

Basically, don't buy either. The Storm RTR is a great beginer buggy and comes with a nice FM radio too.

    Good Luck,
    RobH

Since you want it for bashing I don't think you could go wrong with the MBX Pro. And even if you want to start racing it still won't hurt you. I finish ahead of Inferno's all the time and I have the OLD version of the MBX Pro with the Force P4 still in it.

I have a Hyper 7 PBS RTR and an OFNA 9.5 - Both are great buggies and durable. I prefer the Hyper 7 myself.

Stay away from the regular Hyper 7 RTR, it is not the same at all. One guy here bought one and said it did not have chassis braces, or stone guards and a few other important items. Either that or he just got ripped off.

actually ive only heard bad things about the storm RTR. Also I saw it at the local indoor track and i was rather... disapointed with the performance. Man, I know its a RTR but that thing was slow, my mammoth terra crusher was faster than it in the straight :-/ and yes his buggy was tuned correctly, so dont go bein all defensive now Also ive been told by other racers i know (including some personally from here) it has breaking problems, and the engine is very weak. JMO. Get the Hyper 7 PBS man, you'll be the happiest with it, specially with the 400$ price tag.

If you're dead set on one of the two buggies you mentioned, then it's a no brainer, go with the 7.5 sport. If you're willing to look at other buggies besides those two, you have a whole new world open to you. There's a bunch of buggies worth consideration many of which have already been named by others.

If you don't want to break the bank, but want great performance and durability, the Ofna Ultra MBX Pro is still the best buy in buggies and a steal at 299.00. Looking a little farther up the ladder is the GS Storm, XTM X-Terminator, Ofna Hyper 7 PBS, Hot Bodies Lightning and probably a half dozen others. All are in the same general price range and while you'll get many different opinions on which is the best, they are all relatively similar in features and performance and will provide you with countless hours of jaw dropping fun.

    Casey,

Are you lost? This is the NITRO section! The electric stuff is in the main forum under "Electric Cars". So you don't have to try and find it, here's the link:
