Status: offline 		One of my favorites is my Formost balsa plane. Really saves a lot of work. Another is a set of pin vises that range from 1/32 to 3/16 capacity. They are really handy for drilling holes in servo arms, and in other tight places where a regular drill can't go.

I cannot name a favorite as I have several that I use all the time. To be without any of them would make my life more difficult. So here's the list:

Drill Press
Band Saw
Ryobi Handy Trimmer (small router)
Vacuum bagging setup
block plane
Computer with CAD software
Alpha 4 battery charger/cycler

That just to start. I could go on.

Status: offline 		4 Ft Straightedge from your local home center.

Check building board for straightness.
Check Aircraft for straightness.
Measure to see if tail is straight for gluing.
Measure to see if wing is straight for mounting.
Check wing / fuse for warps.
Use to cut covering straight for for sunburst trim designs...
Use to cut covering for pin stripes.
and on and on...

Status: offline 		My wife's manicure set Everything I need in a 3x5 wallet. Files, clippers, small knife, sanding boards, small bottle of CA, and that acylic powder is great stuff for fixing canopies and cracks in fiberglass.

My Dremel with the cut-off wheel. I'm always needing to whack something.

Small sewing kit scissor set. Small n' sharp!!
Small clip-on clamps- .95 cent a piece at HomeDepo, and a life-saver holding parts.
Mini Slide-clamps from Home Depo, a bit more $$, but well worth it.
Craftsman Micro-Driver Set/Craftsman Micro Socket Set.

you too heh ? LOL those are grate, somtimes when i bored i go round the house looking for stuff i can use LOL and the wifes make-up desk always seems to be a hotspot, those brushes are great as well ..

my favourite has to be the dremel the builders flick knife

Status: offline 		I like the pecker wood tool. It is that doo-dad for poking holes in covering material. I scheme out complicated covering jobs sometimes, and it does come in handy. It keeps air bubbles from forming under covering layed on covering.

Status: offline 		I forget what they call it but that thingy used to transfer the engine mount holes to the engine mount sure has saved me a bunch of money ...........by not having to buy another engine mount to replace the one I screwed up by puting the holes in the wrong place.

Status: offline 		The tools that have imporved my modeling life the most? The dremel with the cut-off wheel and the GP hinge slotter! The rest of it is a good razor saw and the miter box to fit.
