What caster gives the most steering under power?(exiting corners). What is the advantages of more and less caster?? The track I run is mostly smooth hard packed and 1/2 wide open and 1/2 tight corners.

i dont know the general rule of thumb, but my k2 seems to have more steering (under power) with more caster. i switched from the stock 22 degree carriers to the 20 degree for more steering overall. ive also heard that more caster is better for rough tracks. if you really want more steering while under acceleration try changing the anti-squat in the front. this is another change that seemed to help give the front a little more bite while keeping the steering i was used to. hope this helps.

anti squat---this is the angle of the hinge pin where it is mounted to the chassis. notice how the front of the hinge pin is higher than the rear hinge pin? this is often refered to as anti squat or 'kick up'. on the kyosho 7.5, there are different plates available to change this angle. with more angle the outer part of the a arm is forced downward which in relation will raise the chassis keep it from squating. more angle=more anti squat. changing this angle will have numerous effects on the car and how it reacts to different maneuvers and terrain. in the rear of the car more angle will give more forward bite and a little more air on the jumps, but less stability in corners under power. from my experimenting this has the exact opposite effect in the front of the car. of course my buggy is probably set up completly different from yours, so you will have to experiment to see what works best for you. just use this info as a guideline to get you started.

as for the caster angle; if you have a smooth and hard packed track with any tight corners try the 20 degree hubs. always start in the middle (if you can) and then try the higher and lower ones to see how they effect the car with your driving style. (forgot to say that in my last post).
