i have a hyper 7 pro, and i wanted to know how i could further hop it up. i know about the Graphite center differential housing plate, Graphite radio tray, Graphite front upper plate, and graphite transponder mount, the lowered engine mounts, and cnc aluminum steering knuckles. other than that, are there any other hop ups on the market for the car itself (other than engine, exhaust and electronics). feel free to talk about hop ups for any gas buggy in this post.

The Hyper 7 Pro comes with MOST of the hop-ups already. The main hop-ups from the Pro is if you do not like the C-Hub suspension you could go with the pillow ball or pivote ball. They are both the same. Just here most people call it the pillow ball suspension since that is what Mugen has always called it.

You could go with the graphite shock towers or the PCR parts.

I have a Hyper 7 PBS. I mainly wished it had a torsen diff that the Pro already comes with. The PBS does not have the hopped bits that the Pro has. So I have added the following:
Graphite radio tray, top plate, and center diff plate. Aluminum radio and wing posts. I ordered and waiting on purple 17mm hubs. I also got off ebay the purple center torque braces since it is a stronger aluminum than the ones on the PBS. On ebay people part out new Pro kits and i get those parts for real cheap. I am also upgrading to quad breaks from a Pro kit as well.

I have had my PBS for a while. Was trying to sell it but guy backed out. So slowly I am upgrading most things to make it a same as Pro kit with PBS. Just taking time.

I wanted to use the HPI roto start, so this week i am going to put my Force 25 engine in it since the Hyper 8 port does not have a back plate for the roto start myself. I get tired carrying around the start box.

I have also painted a custom lid for it. And dyed my wing and rims black.

As for suspension there is a lot of opinions on which is better. Most people where I have love the pillow ball suspension. A lot of people back in america where I used to race, loved the C-hub. The Pillow ball has more suspension tuning options while the C-hub has more stability. A lot of people will tell you the pillow ball has a lot of play in it. When you adjust something it does not stay. That is NOT true at all. To see examples it is best to compare on OFNA's website the different models.

A regular/spider diff just unloads it power to any wheel with less traction because it is easier. I have the spider diff. -- The pro comes with the torsen diff. It looks for the wheel that still has traction and puts it power to those wheels is what OFNA claims. I would like to get a torsen diff but they are quite expensive. On Ebay I see the torsen diff go ABOVE retail at times.

As I said before I get most of my parts from Ebay. I bought the center diff support with graphite top plate and complete quad break set for $15 american dollars. Came with all the screws and the little mettle pins that the break servo hook up to.

I been surfing around, other than OFNA - I don't see a lot of after market companies doing a lot of the OFNA buggies. You can get titanium turnbuckles from tower.

Not seen anything else from other companies.
