Status: offline 		i have a .15 fantom with 1.2 hp and 41,000 rpm i want to get this gearing combo 19/23 41/45 i want to get the most top speed out of my engine with out losing any performance. and i would like to know what combos you guys have and how you feel with it..

Status: offline 		I'm using the stock 18/22T. pinions with 39/43T. spurs and the stock .12R SS engine...I just got the 19 and 23T. pinions to try out next spring (I got ice and snow here ) I think that's about all that engine will comfortably handle. Your engine should be O.K. with the combo you described...Probably be able to go w/ fewer T. spurs, cuz that engine should have more torque than the .12R SS eng. I think Galaxy said he was usin' 37/41T. spurs and it was a little too much for the stock engine, but you might(?) be O.K. w/ them...

Status: offline 		gearing is the same thing like electric right. the higher turn(rpm) motor you have your supposed to go down in pinion teeth. but yea with the gearing i mentioned above would i still have the right enough torque(will the tires be able to let loose, or do donuts) what if i kept the stock firstgears and then put the 19/23 for the second gears

Status: offline 		As long as the number of teeth spacing between the pinions is the same as the spurs, you'll be O.K. You have a 4T. split between the pinions, and a 4T. split between the spurs, so it will work. And yeah, you oughta have enough power to do donuts

Status: offline 		If ya got a lot of space for top end speed runs like I do, then I'd say the 37/41. But if you want quicker take off and power for donuts, then use the 41/45...
