I have a savage 21, I did put a OFNA 25 in there though. It pops like crazy. Ive seen vids. of the stock 25 doin them so im sure it can. There is 2 speed forward and reverse. You need the reverse module though. Shouldnt b hard 2 install. Most people dont need reverse. Everyone I no who has a maxx ends up puttin in the forward only conversion. There is a slipper clutch and clutch shoes. When u get it all it needs is batteries. Brake it in really good though. (It needs it!!!) It duz kik a$$!!!!

The Savage does have the 2 speeds in the reverse and forwards. The reverse module is not hard to install, you will need to get another servo to operate it. If you get the breaks adjusted they are great. I can do awsome power slides with it. As for the wheelies, I have a Picco .26 in mine and mine is all aluminum so its heavy as hell and I can do awsome wheelies. Just make sure you take your time in breaking it in. and you should have a blast with it.
