Thinking about getting a Mini-t but I wanna check into Lipolys first thing. Anyone know what kind of amps it pulls?

well its not really amps it volts and it can handle up to eight cell 9.6 volts. lipos have a higher volteg so you would only be able to use 2. but you would destoy your com on the motor. you would have to upgrade your motor.

Yes but the motor isn't a problem. When it goes I'd go brushless(mini-t video has me sold). I need to know the amps though so I can order the lipolys accordingly...can also damage them if you don't buy the right ones.

Anyone know the AMPS? I know a 2 cell lipoly is going to burn the thing up but it'll rip till then

is there to find out where to get these batteries. and chargers. crashed im new to these special batteries and i would like to know more about them. so sorry i dont know the amps

Yes, check out www.b-p-p.com

I fly these on my RC helicopters but it seems in the car world Lipolys are rarely used, ****? I'm thinking these cars can't pull over 10 amps so maybe 2s2p 680's will work.

They dont draw more then ten amps, I checked. But thats no load... anyway the reason i checked was because i too wanted to try li-polys.. and i have. using two etec 700something cells i got a nice speed with slight wheelies in carpet, now im looking into bl too.. anybody know how many watts the stock motor puts out? would it just be the efficiency of the motor times volts and current?

In another thread it seems someone is using the Lehner 1015, check the KV on it and maybe see if you can find out the gearing.

As for the SHC packs, they recharge in 30 minutes and can put out 13 amps nominal, 20 amps in bursts
