If you are looking for WW 1 pilot busts check out the Balsa USA web site. they have some really nicely detailed figures both painted and unpainted!

I just checked the site and it is there.

Try this:

http://www.acesofiron.com/

He's hoping to have the WWII guys with the oxygen mask in sizes other than 1/4 in January.

How funny, Ham639 and I are talking the same figures. Perfect Pilots is the distributor for Aces of Iron. I was talking with Michael Johnson, the guy behind Aces of Iron, at the December 7 fly-in he mentions on his website. He does all his own sculpts and molding. The busts are extremely light and made out of resin. No latex here. They have a lot of surface detail, too. You can really create an impressive figure using his detailed painting instructions.

For the record: Michael Johnson of Aces of Iron is the creator of the fine scale pilots mentioned above. WWW.perfectpilots.com is the sole distributor/retailer for all Aces of Iron creations, new scales coming up soon.

Thanks

Hey, take a look at Pete's Pilots from England...Pete Richardson makes the best in my book...and the best thing is he's not some big corporation, he's a real person that you deal with directly. He goes out of his way to satisfy too...like it should be. Check his website out at: http://petespilots.mysite.freeserve.com/ His site is relatively limited compaired to what he has to offer. Email him or telephone him and he will work with you to get you exactly what you want. I just ordered 4 1/4 scale WWII pilots, 3 Luftwaffe and 1 USAAF. On the Luftwaffe pilots, each will be a different face...try and get that anywhere else!
Happy flying,
Rob Bailey / Pickupsticks

The pilots from Balsa USA's are ACES of IRON (www.perfectpilots.com) the painted models are painted by them. First week in january two new 1/4 scale pilots will be introduced and smaller scales in current models.
