OK, Ive heard ENOUGH warnings about the explosive qualities of Lithium Polys to steer my attention elsewhere, as I
ll be using the T w/my 3yo a lot!!

SO.....between Lithium ION & NiMH, what is the BEST battery one can get & fit inside the Mini-T??? I guess I want 7.2V and the most amount of "mah" you can get & still easily get it inside the stock batt. compartment.

Now that polys have been eliiminated from contention, are LIon's really any better than NiMH for this usage?

Thanks!!

Dean

Where did you get the info on lipoly batts being explosive? I was intrested myself in them and i hadnt heard that. hmm. the best batts right now for the mini T are Kan 1050 mah. No one yet has gotten sub C's in a mini T. Kevin from Blind batts makes a great 6cell kan pack for about 19 bucks. Thats what i run and its a great pack.

LiPolys can burst and/or ignite if the wires get crossed/shorted, even for an instant! If you crash, you're advised to put your pack in a safe area for 15 minutes before you can assume it's safe.

Check out what this respeceted vendor makes you read & "sign off on" before they let you place an order!!

Theres a lot of companys that make packs that fit the mini T. Team Orion, Peak, Venom just to name a few. I have 2 packs for Blind on order and am now using a peak. I'm with you on the lipolys, they seem to be much to dangerous for my taste.

13. Handle all cells/packs with care, as they can deliver high currents if shorted. Shorting by a ring, for example, will remove a finger.

I think I'll stick with my NiMH's, thank you. Oh yeah, I didn't know we could run 7.2 volts thru the mini T?

MiniRCfan, go here http://www.edogfight.com/Catalog_page/BatteriesPacks.htm get the 6 cell RS4 packs 3 packs for $30.00. They don't come with connectors but their easy to find and put on. Or go to Tower hobbies and find a pack. They have different ones to choose from. If you don't have a charger you'll need one. I use the duratrax pirahna digital peak charger with no problems.
