Status: offline 		Hmm well sounds like you will be cutting a lot of grass and taking out the trash, cleaning the house for ma and such.

Why don't you ask ma if there is anything you can do?

Clean the garage, paint the garage, wash the cars, etc. etc.

I am sure there is about $200 there somewhere, might take awhile but I am sure you will get there.

Status: offline 		If you are 18 you can sell stuff on eBay. I have done this quite often in the past to pay for my toys. Start off just selling stuff around the house that you don't need. After a few sales, go to local stores and look for really good deals on stuff and resell it on eBay at a markup.

For example. Two things I had a ton of luck with were lamps and martini glasses from Target. They are very trendy and very cheap. If you use this suggestion, be sure to mark out the extremely small "Distributed by Target Brands" on the bottom with a permanent marker.

One suggestion....if you get started today and guaranteed delivery by X-mas, you may be able sell more "gift-like" items. Be sure to check shipping schedules/prices before guaranteeing anything though.

Other options off the top of my head:
-snow shoveling (surely there is snow in MD this time of year)
-raking leaves
-clean people's garages/basements
-take down people's outside X-mas lights (nobody ever wants to do this)
-if all else fails --ask for it. This is the season of giving. (But don't ask me, I'm broke from "giving" too much already)

When I'm bored of those stuff I sell them and the cycle goes on!!

when i was your age i wanted a mini bike, was a honda z50. my parents wouldnt pay for it so i went to the shop where i saw the bike ( ele's spokes ) and asked to work there for a dollar an hour. i worked there every afternoon after school cleaning bikes, hanging out in the work shop helpng fix stuff. and after a few months mum and dad got the message. I REALLY WANT THAT BIKE!!! so they got it for my birthday. Two good things came out of that. i learned all about bikes and i got what i wanted. i , of course was eternally grateful for this gesture from my parents so i cleaned the house and cars for about 6 months. Then i wanted a bigger bike ....lol
