I just got my evader from ebay and bought a starter box from my lhs. I cant get the engine to turn over but twice. Im gettin enough juice to it cuz its runnin off my truck battery. Im not sure how hard it should be to turn the flywheel by hand but i cant push it hard enough to get it to turn it completely over. Im very new to rc so maybe theres a simple reason for this but i cant figure it out. Id appreciat any help i can get

Are you sure that you are trying to turn the engine over the right way? If you are turning it the wrong way, the pullstart wont let you turn the engine over completely. Check to make sure that the truck is aligned properly on the starter box. When I got my first box, I had problems like this. The wheel on the box was hitting the chassis of my truck, not letting it provide the proper power. What kind of box did you buy?

the starter box motor should be turning clockwise as your car motor turns counterclockwise. what kind of starter box are you using???

Loosen up the engine a little by warming the engine case with a hairdryer for a few minutes. Also, rotate the piston to the bottom of the stroke before putting it on the satrterbox. One other thing to remember is that you don't put it on the starterbox and bear down on it. You'll just tear up the starter wheel. You want to bump the flywheel against the starter wheel.
