I am thinking of getting a set of stock Savage tires and rims for my wife's TMaxx.

2 questions:
1> Will they fit with NO mods
2> is $45 american good price for all four tires and rims.

I'm not sure about the price, it sounds like a good price. I know that rims usualy cost me about $75us for both wheels and tires. And the stock Savage wheels and tires WILL fit the T-maxx with no mods. The rims and tires are interchangable for both.

Cool - anyone think I will lose in performance. I think the Savage wheels are bigger and would help for off road better than the stock TMaxx ones.

Kieth,
The best mod for the money you can make to a stock t-maxx is get the wide offset wheels and what ever tires you prefer, Proline Mashers are very good for all terrain

The Savage wheels look cool, but I don't think you'll get much of a performance boost

Cool -

Was not sure. Just know they look cool and seemed like good price. I just put Savage purple shock springs on. I like them Also just installed a spooled diff on the rear.

I know that many of the Maxx people in my area have switched to the Savage tires. They say that they improve their handling on the race track. I know that last summer the LHS could not keep the Savage tires in stock because everyone wanted them. I have switched mine(sold them to a maxx guy) from the origional tires to Jdawg tires. I like the shorter profile it helps with the hole shot

I decided NOT to do it. Looks cool, but want something lighter. The Joe 40's are bigger but less over all weight.

I have seriously hopped up my wife''s TMaxx and this should be last part.
