Hey salmonbug, what club are you flying at?

Looking at those pics there's I think it would be nice to visit you club some day. Do you have an open-door of some kind, when is it?

I fly in the ACW, but don't expect to see connie flying if you come to visit us, after more than 100 flawless flights (that's a lot for such giant scale plane), connie is now only flying in major events in belgium and europe. Connie is usualy on static display every year in wavre expo

but my DV fly every saturday when weather permit

Chris,
I do remember your first days. You have done well and learned some mad skills yourself !
I ran the Impound at the CCPB flyin a few weeks back. You put on a great show for us, and it was very appreciated, we had many visitors that never have experienced a fun fly or even seen a rc aircraft. Then you and your monster performed. Blew them all away. I'll look ya up next time I know your around. I won the 40 trainer at the Matoon FunFly. So lately I have been doing alot of training of newbe's. My Edge is awaiting a new reciever and The SFK project will have to be a winter one. I built the last on in about 60 days. I think I can do the next one in like 30. Solely destined to be a GIANT Trainer and promote the hobby. When it flew here in Assumption it always drew about 1/4 of the town out for a look see. Giants Rule. And the fuel is so much cheaper.

I'm not actually into farming though Chris, I just work on their broken down machines. One day I will take up the Precision Aerial Video again. Untill then I'm just enjoyin sharing the hobby.

Take care,
Michael

P.S. You'll recognize me.... I'll be carrying a black briefcase handcuffed to my wrist

Hi Salmonbug, you are right, the kit does not have a canopy. The ARF does though. Here's a picture before I started cutting it to fit.

A beautiful plane. Sorry to hear it's, nomore.

I understand your loss.

But I must say, Quite an amazing achievement. You should be proud of it's service.

Salmonbug,
Post some more when you come back to the project. Here's a picture of the matching pair my friend and I built. SFK and FK.

As that great American philosopher, Randy Quaid, said at the end of the movie Independence Day, "Hello boys! I'm back! On October 11th I started back on my SFK twin project. In the last week I have nearly finished all of the basic framing. Bruce Tharp has forgiven me for my three month sabbatical. Note that the outer wing panels are not installed here.
