I want ones with small engines. I think smaller ones are cehaper.

(Budget: $120 w/o flite pack at most)

Best if plane is 4ch.

Have you had a look at www.spadtothebone.com ?
They have some cheap 3 ch combat planes for about .15 size engines
I suppose u could convert to 4 ch

Status: offline 		SPAD arf's on Ebay, usually. Otherwise it's easy to put most of the kits together as they are designed for destruction and repair. Which if you fly combat, you'll need to rebuild your planes alot, so you might as well learn to build them to start with.

Status: offline 		I can put together a foam combat plane as fast or faster than I can do a convention ARF sport plane.

Lanier makes a couple of ARF combat planes.

You might also look at the Falcon, it's available in a very fast building ARF. I forget the source, but you can easily find a reference to it on the RCCA page at www.rccombat.com

None of the competitve combat planes are 4 channels. There's no reason to go lugging an extra servo around for next to nothing, so we don't bother. Just one more thing to get broken.
