Trinity came out with the micro monster. The orion baja which was also made for the mini T as direct fits. A 280BB is a drop in. You can even put a speed 300 in if you want. with a little modification to the motor plate.

Stock out of the box, the Mini-T runs less than 15 mph. However, if you add a 6-cell pack it should run around 20 mph. If you want to go even faster, then try the following motors.

NEW Raider Micro Modified

"Because of its unique dimensions, the Raider comes with its very own motor plate to replace the stock version."

PEK1405 Raider Micro Modified $37.00
PEK1406 Raider Micro Modified w/motor plate $49.00

Yeah if your just running AA batt's in there you definately need to get a battery pack in there.
Thatll help your speed then maybe look at a hopped up motor

are the shocks out yet? My lhs doesn't have them . I got the bearings and the 6 cell. FUn but 1 day of play and I need more speed.

I love this hobby. Buy a 150 dollar toy and put 200 bucks into it.

Can someone tell us the motor difference in top speed with the same gears ? Do the mod motors spin faster?Or just make more power at the same RPM ?

They spin way faster and make way more power lol. The stick Mini-T goes about 10. With the 6 cell pack and stock motor it goes about 15 or 16 and does wheelies. Although, I saw a vid with a Mini-T with a mod motor (it was supposedly a brushless motor but I dont think it was unless it was a full size one). Anyways, it was doing about 40 accross a golf coarse, adn he would give it about 3/4 throttle, then gun it while it was gonig and make it flip over backwards! Then he did this krazie donut and it flipped over from the G forces lol. That thing was KRAZIE FAST.

Po Kid, that T was brushless. There isnt any 280 or 300 sized brushed motor that will make a Mini-T that fast.

vancouver4, there will be alot of parts coming out in January and February. I think that the Micro Monster is available now though.
