After living in da swamps all his life, Boudreaux, him, he decides it was time to visit da big city of Breaux Bridge. In one of the stores, Boudreaux, he picks him up a mirror and looks in it. Now Boudreaux, he ain't never seen nothing like dat dere mirror before, an he say "Mais, how bout dat! Dat's a picture of my daddy!"

He bought him dat mirror, but on da way home he taut him some how his wife, Marie, her, she shore didn't like his dad. So he hung himself da mirror in da shack behind da camp, an every morning before leaving for da woods, he would ease on back and take him a good, long look at it.

Marie, her, she begon to get some suspicion of all dese trips to da shack. So, one day, after Boudreaux left, she pick herself up and searched dat shack and found her da mirror.

Hoo mon, when she looked into dat glass, she get some hot, an she say; "So dat's da ugly witch he's been runnin' 'round wit!!!"
