Status: offline 		I built this FW-190 (48" wing span, .40 engine) for less than $10.
If you do combat, and don't want to go broke or ruin your nice models, But you want something cool to fly then read on...
I built this FW-190 from a 1/2 sheet of 2mm Coroplast ($6 for full sheet (4feet x8 feet), some 4mm Coro scraps ($1 if you insist!), an amonia bottle cowl ($2) a shampoo bottle fuel tank (free) and a 2l coke bottle canopy (also free).
Sure, the paint was $6 per can and I bought 3 cans, but the cans will last at least 6 models and you really don't have to paint them.

Just goes to show that from a web 3-view and some coroplast anything can be done.

Flies great by the way. My first real 'war bird', always wanted a 'war bird' for combat.

I downloaded the plans from RC plans (cant remember which site), but the below site is better, the plans are based on actual aircraft drawings. So my Next FW will be a bit more realistic and scale.
Also don't worry about scaling up the wing and tail section. We did everything scale on a Spitfire recently and it flies fine. We are also building up 2 ME-109's and they will be scale too, we used the below site for Spit. and ME-109.

After downloading the plans,I then enlarged the 3-view to 48" wing span on a CAD program (Vectorworks) and printed/ taped it all together. All you need are the profiles to trace onto the coroplast.
