Hi! My name is Mike and thinking in getting a nitro to get started in 1/10 racing. I´m looking for a car that is easy do drive and that doesn´t give any problems. From what i´ve read NTC3, it´s a very good car to start, even thinking in future competition, since is possibel to some easy up-greading. A friend of mine also told about Team Magic´s G4 has a very strong and competetive car.
If it matters, my budget is of about 500€ or $US.
Sorry for my writting.....but i´m not american or english....lol!

the G4 is a better car than the NTC3, but will be MUCH more expensive, and far too advanced for a first time driver. I recommend the NTC3, but the kit, not the ready to run version.

Thank´s for your opinion nitroaddict! Why do say that the R2R isn´t a good choise? I´ve read around the web that the r2t is one of the best r2r´s in the market, and that is almost ´´ ready2race´´ lol. Is the a big quality diference betwen the kit and the r2r?

the RTR comes with a single speed, instead of a two speed, non adjustable shocks, no CVD's and a couple of other things. If you can afford it, get the kit, that way u can put the engine you want in, get a better radio (the one that comes with the RTR sucks) and some other items. The RTR is a good car, but if u have the means, get the kit, u will be happier in the long run.,

Thank´s for the reply nitroaddict. Let me just ask you this, if i buy the r2r, and then up-gread it with the 2 speed trans and a new engine, like the one you´ve mention in other topics, RB Concepts X12 3port, will í be getting a fast car, for tecnical tracks, with more curves than straight ways? Also, what can of exhaust would you advise me, for better performance?
Thank´s for tips. I wouldn´t want to get in rc with no notion of how to develop my car!
Mike

its a cen its reliable and a very good beginners car to be introduced to nitro cars. It has a 2.6cc engine and lots of adjustments can be made. There is also alot of hop up options for this car which are not that expensive. The 2 speed gears come with it and is r2r. It's also 4wd.

neap - this thread is about the G4 and NTC3 - the CEN isnt on par with these vehicles - please avoid posting unless u can contribute to the topic at hand.

Back on subject - Yes, you could upgrade later, and it would be just as good, and plenty competitive - but it wil cost so much more monet - why not do it right the first time? The Team Associated stock exhaust is the best there is for the NTC3.

Thanks again for the reply nitroaddict!
Let-me tell you what i could found out checking the stores around here.
The G4...the C-Classe costs 300€, and with the Sirio at about 185€ and the exhaust also from Sirio at about 50€ it would end up at 535 + i´ll be needing a radio....
The TC3 R2R is at 385€, the 2 speed at 60€ and the engine is at the same price, but i would may get a discount trading the original engine of the TC3 the moment i both it, leaving at 630....less something..the discount...., but i´ll already be getting the radio...lol!
Advice?
Thanks!

I have to complete my last message.....My ´´ dilemma `` is that...the R2R....with the serious engine that i want...and the 2 speed....will end up to cost more than the G4 that, for what read, is a better car!
But there´s one important issue....that´s...for me to be driving....i only need the 385€....the rest is for hop ups...as in the G4....it all has to be invested in the beginning...witch hurts a little...lol....
and i´m still working on the radio....
