3W is great. Look at my fried Josh Glavin for example. Proabbaly the best Junior pilot in the world. He uses 3W and heck he is better than like everyone in this thread.

WOW, I presume you have seen everyone on this thread fly to make a bold statement like that.

Excuse me, isn't Josh now sponsered by 3W?
That means he and his dad pay what, ZERO dollars out of pocket for their engines?
Josh is a great flyer, I saw him fly in vegas...and the interesting thing I remember about Josh is that he has been flying LESS than a year, am I right?
Or has it been now what, like 13 MONTHS?

I have had the DA 50, BMEs and 3Ws. The DA is the only one that I have had to send back to get repairs due to failure. It is a great motor and the support was fantastic. The BME is a great motor but the support is lacking. Keith is very hard to get on the phone and imposible to get via email. 3W motors I have only had in twins and I wouldn't buy anything but. They are incredibly powerful though they take a bit longer to break in. THe DA is loose and the midrange sounds very sloppy though they seem to run well. The 3W has better responce as you use the throttle in clicks, very smooth. THe DA likes to be reved. It just depends what you like.

As far as service.... Bobby at Cactus has been tops for me in every deal and contact that I have ever had. He has been around the longest and he supports the hobby in many ways. I couldn't want any more out of a dealer.

I have no sponserships. Just my opinions from first hand. I haven't had any ZDZs but I do know Roger and he is a great person to know.
