Hello I am just assembling my Yellow 120 Sukhoi and the instructions call for the engine drive washer to be located 6 3/32 inches from the fire wall and the plan calls for 5 3/4 inches. I called Yellow and they said definately 6 3/32. I have installed an OS 1.60 at 6 3/32 and the drive washer seems to be way out beyond the cowel. Has anybody assembled this ARF?.

What do you consider "way out beyond"? Normal clearance is greater than 1/8". If your clearance is much greater than 1/8" it may be possible to move the mounting of the cowl foward a bit. If it's more like 1/2", I would not worry about it.

I'll measure my distance exactly, but it's close to the 0.55" mark (the prop back plate from the cowl). How much are you sticking out?

(Good call Vince.)

Thanks for the replies. My distance from the back of the prop to the edge of the cowl is 5/8. It looked way out there before I had the prop on there. I guess I am o.k.

Thanks again.

5/8" would be pretty close to the extreme end of cowl to prop clearance, but certainly not too much IMO. If you wish to shorten that distance you could always move the cowl foward if the fuselage allows it. I think you are OK though, I would let it go like it is.
