Howard and Michael I got the photos!! The gentleman even let me in the inside!!!This plane was flown to its location back in 1958 and unfortunitly it has been vandalized quite a bit But there is still a lot left in the old girl..Many reputable people have offered to restore it but that would mean moving it away..Amvets dont want to let it go ..so there it sets..Its a complete aircraft with all of its engines and outside equipment but on the inside,,Wires are cut, cables flung around..It is a real mess..Any way ,Howard here are the photos for the engine nac..I think they came out pretty good..Michael there is no charge for the CD..It may be a little bit to get to Belgium though..Michael

Ahh yes!!!..The infamous ribs 5 and 6!!! I think that everyone that has built this plane has scratched his head on this one..Fly fort..you are totally correct about the real reason we do these forums...Just to help everyone out!!My apollagees for being a bit terse and the last few posts..Sorry.. Here a couple of shot for you..As you see, the 5 and 6 ribs are not in place forward of the main spar..There is just no reason for them to be there..When the nacelle gets fully sheeted it is not needed ..At least that is how I did it..Michael in California

I see what you are saying...Yes I made a custom rib on each side of the nacelle spines..So that you would have something to sheet to up to the spines..Cutting out the 5and6 ribs left the area wide open to place the nac spines into place..The problem is to get them exact in regards to the wing..measure,measure and re measure over and over again...

Here is the web site address....www.glennis.com The price will set you back but they are worth it..Take a look while I set up these pictures of the landing gear
They are indeed looking very nice, lots of details, worth the money. Think I'm gonnan cancel that order for those Robart wheels and join the club with those Glennis wheels. Did you also order that tailwheel from Glennis (German Style)???

Michael..Robart have some real craftsman at their plant ..These landing gears are really nice..No complaints at all..In the next post I will so you how I did the exact mounting of the engine nacs ,But it will take a bit to type as I am a hunt for each letter typist..Get some sleep! Michael
